Well, I finally finished the cutting board for Carol. It is a little smaller than her old one, but pretty cool looking. Of course, it is all made out of hard wood, should hold up for a long time. Along the way, I discovered I can still do woodworking which is a real blessing. I really do enjoy that hobby.
Once the actual board was planed, cut to size with a routed edge, I applied the finish. The stuff I use is called Bumblechutes wood finishes. They have a finish for wood kitchen ware. It is totally food safe.
Looking forward to my next project which is going to be something for the garden.
